This piece is influenced by my curiosity in the Japanese Art of Kintsugi – the art of mending ceramics with gold, creating beautiful gold seams connects to my idea of how we all have visible and hidden scars in our psyche. We are vulnerable yet these scars can be beautiful and can make us shine stronger.
